Jessica and Jarrid - engagement

Friday was a hot day. Did I say hot? I meant sweltering! But that didn't deter Jessica and Jarrid at all! We met at the harbor in Ocean Springs. Really, I should have insisted we meet an hour later for both heat and lighting conditions, but turns out, everything came out great!


After the harbor, we headed down to Government Street in downtown Ocean Springs. Finally, we ended up at the beautiful Gulf Islands National Seashore Reserve where Jarrid popped the question back in March!


They are a great couple and getting married in just four weeks!

Travel and vacation and news, oh my!

I will be travelling June 23rd and returning July 1st. I'll be in Boston (yippee, I've been missing it so much!)

I just wanted to give everyone a heads up. The most effective way to reach me while I'm away is on my cell phone.

I only have one or two openings for July portrait sessions. August is a little more open, but booking up fast. So contact me soon to get your session booked.

I do not have any portrait openings for this visit to Boston - but I'll be back in Boston the last weekend in August and for two weeks in October; so you New Englanders who have been waiting to book - email me now to book sessions for while I'm in town.

Senior Portraits

Misses "F" won with the most votes! And her family gets a free 8x10!!! Congrats, she's a doll!!!

All the kids were winners though and it was such a pleasure photographing them!

"Where are my pictures?" you ask. The answer is on their way!! I will have half of the portrait party galleries online tonight and the other half online tomorrow.

Next up, Mr. "J" - what a cutie. Can I tell you how much the camera LOVES this little man. Seriously, I could have kept going all day. He is a handsome guy!

Misses "L" was next. She's very a very special baby girl, and I was honored to photograph her. We didn't get a lot of time together, because like many 4-month-old's she was ready for her nap. Hopefully her parents will bring her back for her 6-month session (and we can make it earlier, so it doesn't interfere with her beauty sleep)

Finally, another VERY special family. Misses "F" and Mr. "S". Misses "F" was my little angel of the day. She is a special miracle. "F" was born with Trisomy 18, and she is defying the odds and becoming quite the little lady, I must say! And her brother "S" loves her very much and held her for a brother and sister portrait.

Little "B"

"B" came over on Thursday for Day One of my portrait party!! I had to remind his mom that while toddlers might be the most difficult to photograph (they are learning about their independence) the photos of them always come out great! You can just see this little man thinking! He was a pleasure to photograph! Enjoy!
