While you may know, weddings and portraits are my thing; I absolutely love anything out of the box,  I love working with local content creators as well as publications and getting creative.

I was thrilled when Gulf Coast Woman Magazine asked me to shoot for their December Issue!

Really, this wasn't too far out of my comfort zone - as the article was all about the party makers and included some of my favorite wedding vendors.

Laken and Jacob - Biloxi, Mississippi Wedding

This Biloxi wedding had me drooling over all the details.  Laken couldn't have looked more beautiful - thanks to Ann Marie Walley and the girls at Antonian Salon.  Alex looked dapper, of course.  And let's pause for a moment.  Can we just talk about the nerves that come with photographing Alex's North's son's wedding.  I'm such an admirer of his photography.  But he was kind and amazing and trusted me to do my thing.

The Beau Rivage is always the perfect setting to start any wedding day.  And Nativity BVM is hands down the most beautiful Catholic Church in Harrison County.  Laken trusted all the florals and details to Jean McGrury with After the Proposal Weddings and Events and Flowers Forever.

But aside from the flowers, the food, the drinks (oh did I mention they had a frozen Bushwacker specialty drink!) - what really mattered was how much Jacob and Laken loved each other.  I loved watching the two of them together.  Congratulations you two!!
