Oak Alley Plantation Bridals - Gulfport Mississippi Wedding Photographer

Ahh, Gorgeous Sarah.  And Oak Alley plantation.  A photographers dream.  While Sarah's wedding and reception were taking place in Pascagoula and Biloxi, Mississippi - Sarah dreamed of having her bridal portraits taken among the rows of oak trees at the historic Oak Alley Plantation.

Mallory's Bridals at the Biloxi White House Hotel Wedding

I have been dying to photograph a wedding at the White House Hotel in Biloxi even before it opened. It's a gorgeous property with ancient live oaks and beautifully kept landscapes; and it has an amazing view of the gulf.  The outside is timeless elegance and the inside is a tad bit of classy modern.  LOVE IT.

As a wedding photographer, I had the opportunity to tour the White House Hotel with some of Mississippi's top wedding vendors at a Premier Bride vendor event. The event was held in the main ballroom, just off the third floor terrace. The staff and food were amazing.  We were able to tour the guest floors as well and even got to see the bridal suite.

Mallory chose the perfect location for her bridals and I was beyond giddy to finally photograph at the White House Hotel in Biloxi, Mississippi.

Blue Rose Wedding, Pass Christian, MS

My associate shooter Natalie has photographed a couple weddings at the historic Blue Rose, but I personally never have.  Until April!! 

First, it's an amazing place to get ready and have bridal portraits taken.  Second, the staff was so wonderful - and made sure everything ran smoothly.  Third - the location and home itself are so picturesque that it's practically impossible to take a bad picture here!!!

Roxanne and Derek are truly awesome.  And today, someone special would be viewing the wedding from up above.  Roxanne's mother passed away just weeks before the wedding, but you could feel her presence there throughout the entire wedding day.

The weather was trying to cooperate, however about an hour before the ceremony, it began to rain.  The decision was made to bring the ceremony inside, which turned out to be just as beautiful!  The rain stopped just in time for us to go outside for pictures after the ceremony, and we caught some dreamy light!!

Rachel, from Pine Hills Floral Designs designed the beautiful bouquet and all the table arrangements.  And the cake was from the amazing Melissa Fischer of Melissa's Specialty Cakes in Long Beach.

Tilley Photography Willowdale Estate Wedding Featured on Style Me Pretty

Before moving to the Mississippi Gulf Coast, my photography business was based out of Boston, Massachusetts.  And so from time and again, I'll get the occasional New England wedding (which I love by the way, so keep them coming).

Two summers ago I had the pleasure of photographing a storybook wedding at the Willowdale Estate in Topsfield, MA.  Taylor and Chris were a dream couple, beautiful inside and out.

Hollywood Lights, Mississippi Girl - Biloxi, MS Wedding

While Angela and Mikael live in Hollywood, CA - South Mississippi will always hold a special place in Angela's heart.  Angela may have moved out West, but she was born and raised in Biloxi, MS and chose to celebrate her wedding here on the Mississippi Gulf Coast with her friends and family from all around the world.


Tilley Photography was excited to see Angela and Mikael's Redding House wedding featured in South Mississippi Living's July edition. 

I'm hoping to share more from this AMAZING wedding soon.  It was truly an event for all.  From the quaint rehearsal dinner at The Shed in Ocean Springs, bridal preparations at Chateau Blessy, an amazing ceremony at the historical Beauvoir, to the celebration reception at the Redding House in Biloxi.  The music, food, and people made this wedding a memorable one for sure!!  Couldn't have been happier that they chose Tilley Photography to capture their wedding photography.  Weddings like these are the reason I love my job so much!  Here is a slideshow http://animoto.com/play/fBWflJZNAcX0CSZOma2AEQ
